AnMed Health Medical Center is an award-winning hospital that has been providing care and comfort to the Anderson, South Carolina community for over 60 years. AnMed Health’s 24-hour Emergency Center is one of the region’s busiest with nearly 85,000 visits annually. When it was time to replace the Emergency Center entrance, they needed a solution that would not only meet the building’s requirements, but would also be quick to install.

The hospital had previously used a product in the building’s main entrance that wasn’t performing. With varying daytime and evening temperatures the matting would expand and contract causing unsightly gaps at the seams. To avoid safety concerns caused by the gapping, the project manager determined they needed to find a different product for the new Emergency Center entrance.

The hospital’s project manager contacted Phil Ashley of Bonitz Flooring Group, Greenville, SC to help them find a solution.
